The course will cover various aspects of the Tabla, from basic basic to intermediate and advances content on ‘Taals’ and ‘bols’, including technical definitions. It will focus on understanding both the theory and the practice of the Tabla as well as how to tune a Tabla. It also focuses on its practical application not only in Indian classical music but also in Light music.

The student will learn how to play Tabla bols in various combinations, learn and practice various exercises, learn to play Tabla Padan, Teen Taal, Kherwa Taal, Dadara Taal, Ek Taal, Jhap Taal, Jhoomra, Ada Choutaal.
